Mechanical plant PLC has signed a grant agreement with the Ministry of Economy, Managing Authority of OP “Innovation and Competitiveness” for the implementation of OPIE project 2014-2020.
Project BG16RFOP002-3.004-0156-C01 / 23.11.2018 “Improving Resource Efficiency of Mechanical Plant PLC” is funded by the Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020, co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of the project is to improve resource efficiency and increase the production capacity of Mechanical Plant PLC, which will lead to increased competitive advantages and expansion of market positions.
With the project, the company aims to create technological and production conditions for reducing raw material costs, expanding production capacity, improving productivity and product quality by reducing the volume of production waste. Resource efficiency improvement activities are linked to the purchase of modern high-performance equipment by the enterprise, which will allow a significant reduction in the cost of raw materials and will significantly increase the efficiency of the enterprise at all.
Estimated results:
- output per unit averaged 36%;
- a reduction in the amount of waste for recycling per product by 91.45% on average;
- improving the efficiency of production costs by an average of 29.2%;
- productivity gains.
The total budget of the project amounts to BGN 1,440,100.00, with the grant from OP “Innovation and Competitiveness” amounting to BGN 993,669.00 or 69% of the total eligible costs of the project. The remaining funds will be provided by the beneficiary.
